FUTURES: a festival of discovery where you can explore the past, create the present and imagine the future
Back for another year, FUTURES promises to bigger and better than ever before! Across Bath, Bristol, Exeter and Plymouth, this festival of discovery will be taking place on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 September 2021 as part of European Researchers’ Night.
For FUTURES2021 we are working right across the South West, with researchers from the University of Bath, Bath Spa University, University of Bristol, University of Exeter and University of Plymouth joining us.
FUTURES2021 aims to bring research to life in new and exciting ways online and in-person. And with a whole host of events ranging from storytelling to panel discussions, comedy, quizzes and broadcasts on community radio stations, there are plenty of ways to get involved!

FUTURES2021 is taking place on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 September 2021.
Our exciting events programme includes a range of online activities and in-person events at venues across the South West. With storytelling, talks, quizzes and comedy all exploring the worlds of science, culture and research, there is something for everyone at FUTURES2021.
Some events are ticketed, some are drop-in and all are completely FREE.
