Creative responses to Climate Change

Can art save the world?

That’s the subject of this lively conversation with world-leading researchers and creative people as we investigate how creative people respond to climate change and work with scientists to engage us in their research.

Join us for an evening blending science and art, where we’ll look at the emotional and creative reactions to vital research on our changing world. Broadcaster Ritula Shah is joined in conversation with the University of Exeter’s Anna Kiernan and James Dyke, theatre-maker, Toby Peach and musician Martha Tilston as they discuss the importance of art responding to climate change in engaging people with the climate emergency. The evening will also feature a live performance by Martha and a screening of her short film Under the Surface, highlighting the impact of climate change on Cornish communities today as well as a showcase of creative response work by young people from Bodmin.
